After giving the black watercolor paper such a bad rating, I wanted to try it with the paper stretcher. My impression: You have to be careful when attaching that the paper does not tear. When I tried to detach it from the paper stretcher, the paper tore at the edges. The combination of mostly transparent watercolor and gouache was a good idea, otherwise it makes no sense to paint with watercolor on black paper. A further advantage of gouache is that it can be moistened when it`s dry already. In this way you can continue to paint or delete paint. This painting is the first piece of a new series – Golden Forest.
