Another desert motif. This time I used an old canvas and painted over the previous motif. The structures created by coarse-grained structure paste should shine through in the sky. That’s why I used Gesso, because it contains water and loses its volume during drying. For the lower part of the painting, I applied self-made crackle paste (craquelure paste), which tears open and creates cracks during drying – Broken Desert. The resulting structures were set in color with acrylic paint.
