The fifth painting of the Mountain and Sea series is, as usual, painted in the wet-on-wet technique. This time, I made sure that the layer structure always captures the entire image and that not only certain areas are moistened. That always caused ugly edges, which I wanted to avoid this time, and it worked. In addition, I added structures in the foreground shrubs with a toothpick and was creating depth through shadows and light in the mountains.
