The Mountain and Sea series continues. This motif has again sprung from my imagination and shows a seascape in dominant violet tones. I have completely opted for the wet-on-wet technique and find the result very successful. Painting the mountains in wet-on-wet causes the edges to always be blurry, which is what I wanted to do this time. I painted the sky with the clouds in two layers and after the third moistening added more details with the brush. Previously, I had created the clouds with a handkerchief and the dabbing technique. Repeatedly painting in layers integrates the color jobs with each other and into the paper. You can do it with no other medium than with watercolor paints.
