I used wax, ink and watercolor for this painting again. In addition, I have given the flow of the washes a direction by blowing through a drinking straw. Finally, I used the negative painting technique with ink to highlight the amaryllis. Doreen.

– Fabriano Artistico watercolor paper 300 g/m² (140 lbs), 23 x 30,5 cm (9 x 12″), hot pressed, 100 % cotton, traditional white
– wax by candle
– water spray bottle
– dip pen by Manuscript, mapping nib
– watercolor brush by daVinci synthetics round No. 2/0
– drinking straw
– asian brush (non synthetics, but natural bristles)
