I wanted to paint a painting with lots of washes that looks winterly for the season, but not too realistic. The cones are indicated only schematically, and I didn`t paint branches. Using texture medium and iridescent medium was a good idea as it distracts a bit from the washes and also provides highlights. Doreen.
