In this video you can see how I paint poppies in the Negative Painting Technique. I start with loose washes and then shape out the petals. Every now and then I use the spray bottle to let the paint run dry. All in all, this is a kind of poppy to paint that is fun and free of too many accuracies. However, I have found that the selection of the paper was not the right one, because it absorbs the water too fast.
