After drawing two seascapes, I wanted to take a break in my series „Seascape“. There is no reference image to this pastel drawing. I saw several pictures of salt deserts at dusk on the internet and put together my own image. I have noticed that the pigments of the darker colors do not adhere so well to the pastel paper as the lighter tones. And as with other media, white behaves quite differently; it is harder in its consistency and therefore more difficult to rub off. Doreen.
