In this Mixed Media Painting video I use watercolor, white gouache and ink as well as iridescent medium. This iridescent medium causes a shiny effect and indicates the luster of a crystal cave. I painted the highlights of the crystals in the foreground with white gouache. For the area deeper in the cave I used plastic foil which creates a structural effect. Overall, the motif of this painting is of course very abstract; as I always paint, or mostly. Doreen.
